The youth academy at Manchester United has produced some of the most talented young players in English football, and one player who stands out is the 19-year-old winger, Jadon Sancho.

Sancho was born in Brixham, Devon, but moved to England with his family when he was just three years old. He began playing for local clubs before joining Manchester City's youth system as a teenager. However, after failing to break into the first team, Sancho transferred to Borussia Dortmund in Germany in 2017.

Despite being just 16 at the time, Sancho made a sensational debut for Dortmund, scoring a hat-trick against Hamburger SV. He went on to make over 200 appearances for the Bundesliga side, winning numerous awards along the way, including the German Footballer of the Year award in 2019.

In June 2020, Sancho joined Manchester United on a four-year contract, becoming one of the most expensive teenagers ever signed by the club. At United, he has already made a significant impact, scoring six goals and providing eight assists in just 15 games across all competitions.

However, despite his impressive form, Sancho will not be able to play for Manchester United until he turns 20, which means that he will have to wait until next season to represent the club in the Premier League. Nonetheless, his talent and potential have already been recognised by Manchester United, and they are confident that he will go on to become a key player for the club in the future.
